Devendra Dahima was born in Udaipur in 1958 and held his first solo show with 26 in Indore 1984. Several other solo and group shows in different towns of India followed this first show as well as exhibitions including the “50 Years of Independence Art Exhibition” in Ahmedabad 1996, the “International Art Exhibition” in Kala Kumbh 1991, and the “17th Lokmanya Tilak All India Art Exhibition” in Pune 2004. His art works can be found amongst the collections of the Lalit Kala Academy in New Delhi and Jaipur as well as abroad (Japan, France, Germany, Holland and the USA).
Devendra Dahima died 2006 of a heart attack. He left behind numerous splendid paintings that eternalise him.
