After completing his formal education in Bombay, Vijay Chauhan specialised in traditional miniature style painting.
He founded the ART HOUSE, a training centre and art workshop in Ajmer, covered by a BBC documentary film in 1979. Since 1988, he undertook commissioned work for Decor Art Gallery in England that published prints from many of his paintings and exhibited his work in several places in the UK.
His Ganesh series were first shown at NEC Birmingham in 1999 and he has since completed a 21 meter long mural commissioned by a company in Milton Keynes, UK.
Vijay Chauhan`s artworks mainly illustrate the Hindu God Ganesha in various moods and shapes.
