Born in Andhra Pradesh , India on August 15 , 1967 . Theertham Balaji obtained his Ph.D in physics subject .Winner of several awards ever since the first one in 1986 , Theertham Balaji received the National award from the President of India in 1994 for painting the Sampoorna Ramayan in his characteristic Kalamkari style . He has given extensive demonstrations of style within the country and outside like in UK and France . He founded the Kalamkari Hastha Kala Kendram in the memory of his art teacher . |
