Rajendra Mishra, born in 1950, obtained his diploma in sculpture from Rajasthan School of Art, Jaipur. A gifted sculptor, he has received numerous awards such as the 47th National Akademi Award, New Delhi (2004), AIFACS Award New Delhi, 1996 and many more. Rajendra Mishra work has been in many exhibitions and shows such as the All India Exhibition, R.I.K.A, and Jaipur in 1991, 1993, 1994 & 1995 and held his solo exhibition in Bajaj Art Gallery, Mumbai 1997. Currently, he has his collection on display in the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi, Sahitya Kala Parishad, New Delhi and in many private collections in India and abroad. |
