Born in Jaipur 1979, Rekha Sharma graduated in Fine Arts (M.A. in Sculpture) from the University of Rajasthan, 2002. Although young, Sharma, as a promising upcoming sculptor, has already won prestigious awards including the State Award at the 44th Annual State Exhibition organised by the Rajasthan Lalit Kala Academy held in Jodhpur, 2003. Furthermore, she has participated in several exhibitions, projects as well as camps and her artworks can be found in many private collections in India.
